Nuclear Cardiology is a specialty of cardiology that uses radioisotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes and is a fast and accurate way to assess heart health and function.

The Nuclear Cardiology Certification Program encourages professional growth in, and enhances the quality of, the practice of nuclear cardiology. The Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology, a not-for-profit corporation established in 1996, is a fully autonomous entity, independent of any other association, society or academy.
